Olympics Programme Up and Running

Sportwise are pleased to announce that our cross curriculum Olympic program is now up and running. Full details of the scheme can be found here

Ian and Adam who developed the idea explained that "We knew that there would be a need for this provision with the Olympics up and coming and the games lends itself to so many different curriculum areas. A number of the schools that we work we have approached us asked for some extra support in the lead up to the games and we are only too happy to help". 

"We now have a programme of study which can be used to support schools during extra curriculum time or as part of the normal school day. Our trial sessions have gone really well. Children have shown a real enthusiasm for the Olympics and have been keen to learn more. Particular highlights include trying out original Olympic sports and the mimi Olympics which brings together the whole school for a festival of activities"
