Staff Training

Sportwise are able to offer training courses for both teaching and non-teaching members of staff.

Examples include the Positive Play Scheme which shows lunchtime supervisors how to engage children in fun stimulating activities and specialist schemes where coaches demonstrate how to introduce sport to children.

We can also deliver a range of accredited VRQ courses such as Leading Health Related Activity Sessions which will enable your PE Assistants, Activity Coordinators or Lunchtime supervisors to deliver safe and effective activity suitable for the needs of growing children.

Through the Sports Leaders courses we can train and qualify your staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to run the Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes. See the Sport Leaders tab for further information.

Alternatively if any staff require a refresher session to cover any particular activity Sportwise are able to cater for this.
